The More We Learn, the More There is to Learn

Our learning this week has been intense. We’ve had numerous interviews with locals, church planters, and consultants. We spent the morning Wednesday with Central Dallas Ministries, and the afternoon in the office of a local high school counselor. Needless to say, after our time with these two entities, we had discovered no shortage of needs in the area.

We’re also still working to choose a name for this new community of faith. Fortunately, it looks like God is sending us some help on this one. None of us are the *gifted creative* type.

There has also been some spiritual attack this week--at least through some major distractions and sleepless nights. While I claim no knowledge of what truly happens in the spiritual realms, I do believe the powers of darkness are at work. It’s an extra critical time right now in this adventure, so I suppose it’s not surprising to encounter these things. Thanks for praying for us.
