Happy Easter season! We had a good morning celebrating the resurrection on Sunday. Jesus Christ is alive, and this changes everything. My buddy Josh led a portion of our assembly Sunday, and he talked about how God's brilliant light of hope and restoration shines all the brighter in life's darkest moments. Though we aim to avoid difficult times, perhaps we should also see them as reminders that Jesus Christ is the only hope for the world.
Claudia and I celebrate our first month-a-versary today! She is the most amazing woman I know. Our love for each other has never been stronger. The gift of such companionship is beyond words. Thanks to those of you who were present for our wedding!
I've been spending a lot of time over the last several weeks preparing a Worship Study for Wednesday nights this Spring. We're going to be talking about Worship as a spiritual discipline, a discipline that grows and changes along with our own aging and maturing.
