Gideon (my future nephew) and I have bonded quite well.  Posted by Picasa

The men made breakfast Friday morning. It was most superb, if I do say so myself.  Posted by Picasa

Wedding Day in 3 Months (and counting)

I am grateful to those of you who have prayed for me. I'm feeling much better these days, and I was very fortunate to experience only a mild case of mono. That could have been much worse...

I spent Thanksgiving this year with Claudia's family in Searcy. We had a wonderful time full of food and laughter. It was especially fun to be with Daisha (Claudia's sister; www.jranddaisha.blogspot.com), JR (Daisha's husband), and Gideon (their child--my future nephew!) because we do not get to see them very often.

On December 3rd, we had our big Christmas show here at Highland Street. I had a lot of fun playing my drumset again (thanks to my wonderful parents who brought it from Abilene). We had over 400 people come to share an outstanding Christmas meal and some fun performances.

The Abilene Reporter News published a blurb about Kami and Brandon along with Claudia and me. http://www.reporter-news.com/abil/fe_weddings/0,1874,ABIL_7938,00.html. Claudia and I are enjoying growing closer to each other and closer to March 10th!
